“Castlevania” (released as “Akumajo Dracula” in Japan) is the action game title which was developed for NES (Family Computer) by KONAMI in 1986. This is the first and commemorable title of Castlevania series. The original version of this title was published for Family computer Disk system as floppy disk format. At North American market, the title for NES was published for ROM cartridge format (the publishing date at European market was 1987), later the ROM cartridge format was also published in Japanese domestic market in 1993. As well as versions of X-68000, the arcade version and SNES (known as Super Famicom), the title for MSX also basically differs from the original NES version in the aspects of game system and stage composition.
