“F-1 Spirit: The Way to Formula-1（F1スピリット）” is a car driving game which was developed and published by KONAMI in 1987. And this title was released for the markets of Japan and Europe. As well as “Road fighter” which KONAMI released in 1984, the top-down view is adopted for this game. In addition, this is KONAMI’s first title for MSX. And the cartridge mounts KONAMI’s custom sound chip called “SCC” with 5 channels on the ROM. These channels can complements the three-channel PSG chip of the MSX.
