“Romance of the Three Kingdoms（三國志）” is a war strategy game developed and published by KOEI in 1985. This is the first title of Romance of the Three Kingdoms series from KOEI’s best sellers. This game focuses on the period from the end of Han dynasty to Jin dynasty (2nd century) in mainland China and the players can choose their own palyer characters from the various local lords or generals such as Cao Cao（曹操）, Liu Bei（劉備） and Sun Quan（孫権）etc. to bring the whole country under one rule.
