MSX

MSX is the 8 bit & 16bit home comuter architecture standard which Microsoft and ASCII announced in 1983. As the biggest features, this computer was desined for kid’s programming computer which everybody can buy by cheaper price. Also, it includes unified standard which is very similar to the current “open architecture” conception. So called “mycom” (it means a personally owned computer) boom began at the end of 1970s in Japan, Japanese compuer indutsry became an arena of rival manufacturers.
